    General Summary:

    In this hourly position, the Payroll Systems and Reporting Analyst processes and verifies payroll information on a timely basis and ensures that our clinicians’ services are reported and processed accurately in preparation of payroll checks and direct deposit vouchers. Will create and maintain reports.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Job Responsibilities:

    • Performs duties relative to CHE Behavioral Health Service’s overall payroll function including the review, correction and approval of data prior to processing paychecks.

    • Determines that clinicians are paid at authorized rates and in accordance with approved CHE Behavioral Health Service’s policies and IRS regulations.

    • Enters rates and updates when changes are made to fee structures.

    • Acts as a liaison with the billing department to ensure accuracy of clinician’s documentation submitted for payment.

    • Assists clinical staff to ensure the services provided are reported correctly, paid at the correct rates and paid timely.

    • Performs regular productivity analysis for clinical staff.

    • Responsible for exporting clinician data from the billing system to reporting system daily.

    • Generates and runs ad-hoc reports.

    • Responds to all requests for information and telephone inquiries in accordance with established standards and procedures.

    • Assists with regular payroll reconciliations.

    • Maintains an accurate filing system of payroll forms and reports.

    • Maintains confidentiality of all information.

    • All other reasonable job duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting or Mathematics preferred or High School Diploma with equivalent work experience

    Experience:

    • 2 + years of progressive experience in an analyst or accounting role

    • Healthcare experience preferred, Behavioral Health Services experience a plus

    Knowledge:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

    • ADP Workforce Now experience preferred

    Skills:

    • Strong technical and analytical skills

    • Must be highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time

    • Strong customer service focus and attention to detail

    • Efficient in learning new reporting, billing and payroll applications/systems

    • Strong problem solving skills, highly driven and self-motivated
