Overview

CHE Behavioral Health is seeking a full time remote- Human Resources Director within the Healthcare Space- Hospital, SNF's, Behavioral Health settings. Additionally,  someone with Multi State experience including

Responsibilities

 
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
· Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related issues. Address and resolve employee conflicts and grievances.
· HR Strategy Development: Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
· Corporate onboarding: Manage the onboarding process for all new corporate new hires
· Provider onboarding: Assist and manage when needed with provider onboarding with all necessary paperwork, benefits, background checks, I-9’s, etc
· Assist in answering employee requests and questions.
· Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
· Guide conflict resolution, performance improvement plans, and investigations as needed.
· Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of multi-state employment laws and healthcare regulations.
· Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies. Ensure programs are competitive and compliant with regulations.
· HR Metrics and Reporting: Collect and analyze HR data to inform strategic decisions. Prepare regular reports on HR metrics such as turnover rates, onboarding metrics, and employee satisfaction.
· Culture and Engagement: Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Develop initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
· Identify training and development needs and implement scalable solutions to support professional growth and compliance.
 

Qualifications

Qualifications:
 
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) required.
· Experience: Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, with at least 3 years in the healthcare industry.
· Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role
· Proven experience managing multi-site, multi-state HR functions.
· Prior experience in both California & New York preferred.
 
Skills:
 
· Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, ADP WorkforceNow, Adobe Sign, iCIMS, and the Brainier Learning Management System (LMS) a plus
· In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws across various states.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
· Proficiency with HRIS and other HR software tools.
· Ability to work independently and manage remote teams.
